My belief

Throughout my career I have come to believe in the transformative power of design and the importance of fostering collaborative partnerships. I believe that design goes beyond aesthetics, playing a crucial role in shaping brand identity and creating meaningful connections with audiences.

Collaboration is the hearth of success. By actively engaging with clients, I gained a deeper understanding of their goals and aspirations. This allowed me to create graphic assets that not only adhered to brand guidelines but also resonated with their target audience.

During my tenure as Graphic Designer - Prepress supervisor at La Litotema Grafica, I had the privilege of working with UV4TAN, a B2B Italian company who has been operating in the professional tanning sector since 2004 and since its inception it has established itself as a reference company on the Italian national market.

As the exclusive importer of the renowned Ergoline brand in Italy, UV4TAN has established a reputation for producing innovative solariums equipped with advanced light and UV technologies.

Retained as their trusted designer following the acquisition of La Litotema Grafica by Laghi Arti Grafiche in 2007, our relationship then evolved into a freelance collaboration after I relocated to the UK in 2012.

UV4TAN sought a skilled designer who could handle multiple projects and meet challenging deadlines, as their business continued to grow and I proved instrumental in fulfilling their requirements.

Initially tasked with designing their general catalogue, my role expanded as UV4TAN ventured into new business branches, such as LED lights and nail lacquers.

Teaming up with their marketing and sales teams, we successfully expanded the internationally recognised Mollon PRO brand within the Italian beauty market.

Throughout this journey, I took responsibility for creating a diverse range of graphic assets, including catalogues, flyers, self-supporting shaped cardboards, expositors, sleevers, packaging and advertisements on key national beauty magazines, consistently adhering to brand guidelines.

Additionally, I provided design support for UV4TAN's presence at COSMOPROOF, a leading global event in the professional beauty sector, and also worked on a number or marketing collaterals.

Contributing to UV4TAN continued success and industry growth has been a rewarding experience.

Working with such a young and innovative company, was truly enjoyable. They embraced collaboration and approached challenges with a positive "can do" attitude. Throughout our partnership, their unwavering support matched the dedication I put into assisting them.

Although our collaboration concluded due to my inability to work full time while being responsible for the design of all the product lines, I'm pleased to have maintained an ongoing relationship with UV4TAN. What started as a client-designer relationship has evolved into a friendly connection based on mutual respect and trust.
